7 months agoAbsolutely delicious pizza, reasonably priced and perhaps the best in the Pickering/Ajax area. Owners are very kind and seem like genuinely nice people also. Found this place by fluke while looking for a new local joint to try.. Tucked away on Liverpool, just north of Finch, this place is a hidden gem. I got a funghi pizza (alfredo base), another with pesto, sundried tomatoes and red peppers as well as an order of Arancini. Pizza was cooked to perfection, thin crust that was crispy and blistered on the outside and beautiful on the inside.. Dough is delicious and right on par with fancier eat-in pizzerias. Toppings were all high quality from the roasted garlic to the red peppers. Arancini were delicious- crispy, with just the right amount of rice and melted cheese.. on a bed of delicious, beautifully seasoned and spiced sauce. Couldn't believe how good this place was for a pizzeria I'd never heard of. Clearly they take pride in making good pies.. and I will definitely be back.

7 months agoDelicious white funghi pizza. Better than a lot of fancy restaurants. Whole garlic pieces are a nice surprise. The lasagna was delicious too. Excellent hearty marinara.

7 months agoFirst visit to Pizzeria King (Dec 22 @4:35p). Easily placed order for medium meat lovers pizza on their website, and easily customized for light sauce (my preference). Friendly greeting upon arrival. Very clean dine in area, large TV in bar area. Pizza was cooked perfectly, toppings were fairly generous and not salty as some meat lovers pizzas usually are. Very nice taste. Medium pizza was perfect serving to satisfy my craving. Will return....

7 months agoPizza was crispy, with good amount of cheese and toppings. Would highly rate the quality and texture of the pizza and is as good as it gets. The apps (spring rolls and jalapeno poppers) and dessert were average. Would definitely recommend the pizza here. Staff was polite and friendly

7 months agoTried Pizzeria King based on others positive reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Glad to find this neighbourhood gem. Ordered the bbq chicken pizza...the crust was perfect, very flavourful and balanced toppings...could have had a little more chicken though. Not a lot of seating space but ambience was decent for a small pizza restaurant. Order over the phone to save some money. Highly recommend!

7 months agoEverything from ordering, to picking up, eating our pizza was top notch! I went based on a raving review on Facebook's group 'Durham Region Eats'. And Pizzeria King did not disappoint! We found our new pizza joint! Kudos Pizzeria King! Ample parking, and fresh veg toppings.
